The Battle with the Flesh

Have you ever had a battle with the flesh? It goes something like this- That sweater or those shoes would look so good on me (flesh); but I do need to pay that electric bill (reason). I am so hungry that I can eat a cow- delivery sounds nice (flesh); but I do need to go grocery shopping for home (reason).

Sometimes, the flesh wins but that's never a reason to throw up your hands and stop striving to gain control over your flesh. Just because you fall off the horse doesn't mean that the ride is over. Stand up straight; accept & admit that you've fallen; brush yourself off; and try again. It's just that simple. Leaders never stop trying.
