The Power of Words

I've learned at an early age that the adage, "stick and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me" is a lie from the pit of hell. As a child with "buck teeth", the insults were endless. As a result, I learned that words can, not only sting worst than physical pain, but they can also linger for months and even years if not addressed. In fact, harsh words have hindered some from moving forward; silenced some; and held others in bondage.
