In Search of Love?

I'm trying to understand how there could be so many songs about love. And yet there are so many children in foster care; broken marriages; single parents; and live-in situations without a commitment. I am convinced that this is because we are all in search of love or company. Whether it's security love; romantic love; erotic love; friendship love; agape love; or unconditional love. We all want some kind of love. But then there are others, who would just rather not be by themselves as if being alone is some kind of curse or in other cases some say that they have nothing else better to do. Infatuation is foolish and, the wrong compromises, can lead to a path of destruction and/or regret. Leaders must carefully assess the consequences of their choices. Though you won't always get it right, with careful consideration, you can elimnate feelings of degradation, humiliation, and the devaluing of oneself. In closing, if you don't like the consequences, consider changing your choices.
